Blessings
I have heard repeatedly fellow practitioners saying, “It is such a Blessing to meet our Teachers and come into the path of the Dhamma.” I have, myself, said the same. So, what do I do hereafter? The Blessing is mine for the taking but how can I grow this Blessing?
From a personal standpoint, growing this Blessing has to be more than just cultivating on my own. It should be sharing what I know with others who do not yet know. In return, I learn from those who know more than I do. But how do I get into a community of practitioners who will be there together with me?
There are many ways to grow this Blessing but nothing beats contributing towards the setting up of a Retreat Village where practitioners can be together to cultivate and support each other. This goes beyond just benefitting present-day practitioners but also gives new and future practitioners an abode for cultivation.
This is my chance to grow this Blessing and help intensify the momentum of the practice in the Dhamma path. The joy of being a part of the pioneering group to set this up from scratch is unquantifiable. By so doing, I grow my Blessing to meet other like-minded practitioners, benefit from teachings and learnings from others on this Dhamma path, have a haven dedicated to the practice, etc. The list goes on… Rather than just sitting back and taking this Blessing, I have decided to grow it as many folds as possible.
With Gratitude,
