What We Truly Are

Growing up and living in a big city all my life, I could only imagine what village living was like for the generations before me. I was raised to be independent and to work for what I wished to achieve as nothing comes for free. I tried my best to fit in but felt disconnected from others and the world around me. So I turned it around and took pride for being the black sheep as a mask to conceal the emptiness I felt within.

Not knowing I was looking to heal the broken spirit, I chanced upon this teaching and to my surprise, instantly connected with it. It was beyond logic, of which was my usual mode. It wasn’t blind faith but with the full confidence that somehow I just knew that this IS the Way. I knew my purpose in life now after unknowingly searching for so long. Until that moment when it all made sense.

Since then, the learning and journey of discovery has been tremendously fulfilling and joyful, despite the ups and downs. The myriads of minds met along this path had in many ways steered and consistently kept me aligned. The coming together with the intention to learn from each other showed me that the support of a like-minded community is absolutely crucial. Perhaps that was what village living could be like.

I see each and every one I have met on this journey so far as the teaching coming alive, as a reminder of the Truth – an extension of Love and the only One that ever exists. The prospect of a new Home makes perfect sense in my humble opinion for all of us to cultivate and spread that joy, love and light to benefit all who wish to be a part of the One. A returning to our sacred origin, of who or what we truly are.

Do join me on this exciting new chapter at Sri Langkasuka Retreat Village. It is a grace and blessing for such a rare and precious opportunity of walking and supporting others on this noble journey. Together, we are here only to be truly helpful in serving the Truth, for the highest happiness and benefit of all sentient beings.

With Love,
